Impact of ART in resource limited settings, HIV drug resistance, HIV in older adults

Dr Collins Iwuji is a specialist in Sexual Health and HIV medicine. He has an interest in HIV treatment outcomes in resource-constrained settings, HIV in older adults and sexually transmitted infections. His current focus is on the use of ART for the prevention of sexual transmission of HIV. He is currently undertaking an MD postgraduate research at University College London investigating whether earlier treatment of HIV could lead to drug resistance of the form and prevalence likely to compromise future elimination of HIV.
